Challenges in Relationships

This is an excellent topic and I’m glad this has been brought to the forefront. The challenges within relationships oftentimes come from 2 areas: 1 – unclear expectations, and unmet expectations. Communication is the wildcard in both. As we know, women are more likely to express their feelings, verbally. Men on the other hand are far more likely to express via action. As a man, I can attest to the difficulty in verbal communication due to trauma. I think the beginning stages of understanding the difference can come from considering the social and societal differences. Men and women do indeed communicate equally. What I think people may need help remembering is that men and women communicate DIFFERENTLY.
